PicMovi MCP

PicMovi MCP is a photo to video tool for agents. Connect Cursor, Claude, or another MCP client to make video from photos: animate a still, or turn start and optional last-frame photos into a short clip.

Use the same models and account credits as picmovi.com. The agent can list photo-to-video capabilities, quote cost with no charge, start one job after you confirm, and poll until the clip is ready. Listing, quoting, and polling never spend credits — only generation does.

How to use

Create an MCP key on this page. Copy it once — we cannot show the full key again.
Paste the MCP JSON into your client. Cursor is the worked example below; other apps use the same mcpServers snippet.
Click a photo in My Upload or My Generation to copy its assetId.
Copy the prompt below, replace PASTE_ASSET_ID_HERE, then paste it into the agent. Confirm credits before it starts the video.
The clip link appears in chat. The same video also shows up under Products.

Prompt template

Paste into the agent after you click a photo below. “Use photo-to-video.…” picks the model (no picker in chat). Motion prompt is the same i2v text you type in the studio — what happens in the clip. “subtle motion” is motion strength, not that story. Delete the Motion prompt line if you only want a generic animate.

Where the video goes

The agent polls until the job succeeds, then shares the CDN link in chat. You can also open Products to download the same clip. Failed jobs refund credits like the website.

My Assets

Same library as the studio panel. Click a photo to copy its assetId. Free-plan files expire after about 1 day.
