Terms of Service

Welcome to picmovi! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our Image to Video, image-to-video, video generation, and related AI media tools at picmovi.com (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our AIGC Use Policy (Acceptable Use Policy).

1. Service Description

picmovi is an AI-powered content generation platform. Features include Image to Video (also described as image to video, image-to-video, and photo to video), text-to-video where offered, AI image generation, and related studio tools. The Service:

  • Generates videos from input images and/or text prompts
  • Supports multiple AI models including Seedance, Veo, Kling, Wan, and Hailuo
  • Offers start and end frame guidance on supported models
  • Provides various resolution options and duration settings
  • Supports personal and commercial use subject to your plan and applicable licensing
  • Uses a credit-based system for generation
  • May be accessed from Google Docs via our official Workspace add-on (Photo to Video — picmovi), which sends a photo from the open document to the picmovi studio. Generation still occurs on picmovi.com under these Terms

picmovi is a general-purpose creative tool. We do not offer adult-content products, uncensored generation, or tools intended for sexual deepfakes or impersonation.

2. AIGC Use Policy (Acceptable Use)

Because the Service provides Image to Video and other generative AI (AIGC) products, the following content standards apply to all uploads, prompts, generations, downloads, and sharing. A standalone copy of this policy is at picmovi.com/acceptable-use.

You may not upload, prompt, generate, store, distribute, or sell content in these prohibited categories:

  • Pornographic / NSFW content. Sexually explicit material, pornography, nude genitalia created for sexual purposes, or other not-safe-for-work sexual content, including attempts to generate it from text or photos.
  • Violent / gory content. Graphic violence, gore, torture, or content that glorifies extreme harm to people or animals, except limited fictional/news-style depictions that are not intended to incite real-world violence.
  • Hate speech. Content that attacks, threatens, or demeans a person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar protected characteristics.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any sexual, pornographic, exploitative, or abusive content involving anyone 17 or under, whether real, fictional, or AI-generated. Zero tolerance. We will block such requests, terminate accounts, and report to authorities where required by law.
  • Deepfakes / impersonation. Generating or editing media that impersonates a real person, uses their likeness, face, or voice without authorization, or is intended to deceive, harass, defraud, or create non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII).
  • Copyright / trademark infringement. Uploading or generating content that copies, clones, or commercially exploits another party's copyrighted works, trademarks, logos, or other IP without rights or a valid exception.

You also may not generate content that is otherwise illegal, that facilitates crime, or that is prohibited by applicable law or payment-network rules. You must not abuse credits, reverse engineer the Service, or attempt to bypass safety screening.

3. Platform Content Moderation

We moderate generative use of the Service. On the server, we screen text prompts and uploaded images for NSFW and other prohibited content before generation is allowed to complete. Screening is automated and may be supplemented by human review. We do not guarantee that every violation will be caught in advance.

  • Prompts that appear to request prohibited content may be refused.
  • Uploaded images that fail safety / NSFW checks may be refused.
  • Blocked jobs do not produce a downloadable result. Credits for blocked jobs are typically refunded.
  • We may retain records of blocked or reported jobs as needed to enforce these Terms and comply with law.

4. User Reporting Channel

If you see generated or uploaded content that appears to violate these Terms or the AIGC Use Policy, report it to support@picmovi.com with the subject line "Report prohibited content." Please include:

  • A description of the content and why you believe it is prohibited
  • The page URL, job or product ID, or other identifier if you have one
  • Approximate date and time, and any relevant screenshots (do not send CSAM files)

We review reports in the order they are received, with priority for child-safety and illegal-content reports. We may ask for more information. We may remove content, refund or withhold credits, warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts, and notify payment processors or law enforcement when required. We do not share confidential investigation details with reporters except as needed to confirm that the report was received and reviewed.

5. Enforcement

Violations may result in one or more of the following, at our discretion:

  • Refusal or deletion of the generation and related files
  • Credit refund, credit forfeiture, or denial of future refunds
  • Temporary suspension or permanent termination of the account
  • Blocking of related accounts, emails, or payment methods
  • Cooperation with payment processors, card networks, and law enforcement

CSAM and other illegal content may result in immediate permanent ban without prior notice. We may terminate or suspend access for any material violation of these Terms.

6. License and Usage Rights

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to:

  • Use the service for personal and commercial purposes (subject to plan and licensing)
  • Generate and download media for your intended use
  • Access the service through our web interface
  • Use generated outputs according to your needs and applicable licenses
  • Purchase and use credits for generation

Commercial use may require a qualifying plan. Purchase refunds for credit packages and subscription plans are governed by the Refund Policy.

7. Content Guidelines and Ownership

When using our service, you agree to:

  • Only submit inputs you have the right to use
  • Take responsibility for the media you generate and how you publish it
  • If you upload images of people, confirm you have the right to use them. picmovi does not collect Face ID or biometric face templates; photos of people are handled as described in the Face Data section of the Privacy Policy

You retain ownership of your input content and have rights to generated outputs subject to these Terms and your plan.

8. Service Limitations

Please be aware that:

  • The service operates on a credit-based system with usage limits
  • Output quality may vary depending on inputs, prompts, and model selection
  • Service availability is not guaranteed 24/7
  • We may modify or discontinue features without notice
  • Generated media may not always meet your expectations
  • Processing times may vary based on complexity, model selection, and server load
  • Different AI models have different capabilities and limitations

"Unlimited" plans provide access to included models, not guaranteed speed, wait time, or concurrency. We may queue, throttle, or deprioritize unlimited jobs based on your usage frequency and overall demand. Credit-based generations may be processed with higher priority.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without any warranties. We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Perfect generation quality
  • Compatibility with all devices or browsers
  • Fitness for any particular purpose
  • Accuracy of generated content
  • Non-infringement of third-party rights in generated media
  • Consistent performance across all AI models
  • That automated moderation will detect every prohibited request

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Any direct or indirect damages from using the service
  • Loss of data or business interruption
  • Issues arising from third-party integrations or AI model providers
  • Media generated through the service
  • Intellectual property disputes related to generated media
  • Service interruptions or technical issues
  • Credit loss due to failed generation attempts

11. Intellectual Property

picmovi and its technology are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute our service without permission
  • Use our trademarks or branding without authorization
  • Reverse engineer our systems or algorithms
  • Claim ownership of our underlying technology

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes where appropriate.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the service at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason. You may also terminate your use of the service at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
